長い髪と、短すぎるドレスの旅 / A Journey of Ultra‑Long Hair and a Too‑Short Dress

こんにちは！ ……といっても、ここを見てくださっている方がどれくらいいらっしゃるのかは分からないのですが、2022年に「見た目を変えました」という記事を投稿して以来、もう更新することはないだろうと思っていました。 でも、急にお気に入りの服のことを語りたくなってしまって、今日あわてて写真を撮ってきました。

その服は Analogic の Kylie Dress です。 このところ忙しくて何もできなかったのですが、週末にようやく時間ができて、セール中のお店をまわっていたところで「あっ、かわいい！」と衝動買いしてしまいました。モデルさんも少しお人形さんみたいでかわいいんですよね、このお店。

最初はパステルトーンのピンクやパープルで着てみようかと一瞬血迷ったのですが、やっぱりアースカラーのほうがいいなと思い直して、テラコッタやセージグリーン、チャコールグレーなど “夏の都会向き” の組み合わせを探していろいろ試行錯誤しました。 ところが、このドレスのカラーはどれもくすみ系ではなく、パステル寄りの色味ばかりで、その案は断念。

結局、モノトーンでセクシーでフェミニン、そして in‑world のどこでも着ていけるセクシーカジュアル を目指すことにしました。 きなりのニットのような色があったのでパンプスと合わせようかとも思ったのですが、どうも質感がしっくりこなくて、最終的に 白×黒レザーのグラディエーターサンダル に落ち着きました。

ミニドレスの甘さをレザーのグラディエーターサンダルで引き締める組み合わせは、前々からすごく好きなのです。 “スタイリッシュなシティガールさん”という感じ、しませんか。

Hello! I’m not sure how many people still visit this blog, but ever since my 2022 post about changing my look, I honestly thought I wouldn’t update again. But today I suddenly felt the urge to talk about a favorite outfit — so I rushed to take a photo.

The dress is Kylie Dress by Analogic. I’ve been busy lately and couldn’t do much, but during the weekend I finally had time to walk around some sale stores. When I saw this dress, I just thought “Oh, that’s cute!” and bought it on impulse. The store’s model looks a bit doll‑like too, which makes everything even cuter.

At first, I almost tried pastel pinks and purples, but I quickly realized I wanted something more earthy.... terracotta, sage green, charcoal, that kind of “summer in the city” palette. Unfortunately, all the dress colours were more pastel than muted, so that idea didn’t work.

In the end, I went for a sexy, feminine monochrome look that still feels casual enough to wear anywhere in‑world. I considered pairing it with an ivory knit‑like tone and pumps, but the textures didn’t feel right. So I settled on white and black leather gladiator sandals, which balance out the sweetness of the mini dress perfectly.

I’ve always loved the combination of a sweet mini dress with strong leather gladiator sandals. It gives such a stylish “city girl” vibe.... don’t you think?

髪はこちらも一目ぼれして買いました。OPALE の Tiara Hair です。 OPALE の髪は前にもかわいいおかっぱを買って気に入っていたのですが、今回のこれは「私が長い間ずっと求めていたものだ！」という感じでした。前髪ぱっつんで、おしりまで届くストレートヘア。リアルでもそのくらいの長さまで伸ばして、自分の髪の上に腰をおろして「ギャーッ」となっていたころ、in‑world でもこんな髪型ができたら良かっただろうな……とよく思っていました。 その節は日本のヘアクリエイターさん、特に 0 Style の Rei さんにはいっぱい無理なリクエストをきいてもらいました。ごめんなさい、そしてありがとう。

髪の色は、Material で艶のある真っ黒な髪にしたほうが絶対似合うだろうなと思ったのですが、後で紹介するアクセサリとの相性や、こんなに長くて真っ黒だと重たく見えるかな……という心配もありました。それに、Material を使っていない環境だと黒髪がチープに見えてしまうこともあるので、少しだけ明るさを寄せて インディゴなしのヘナ混じりのような、赤いダークブラウン にしました。 普段は黒髪に見えるのですが、PBR や良い光源のある場所だとふっと明るく見える瞬間があって、そのたびに「おっ」と嬉しくなります。

リップカラーは、赤みのあるローズウッドやテラコッタベージュのような色を探しました。ただ、私の使っている Morph ではなく GENUS 2.0用のメイクはもう数が限られていて、こちらも難航。tutti belli - nocturne (genus) を HUD で薄めにつけて調整しています。 目元は逆にボールドなアイライナーにしました。これも良いものが見つからず、何と昔の CatWa 用のものを使って、HUD でウェットなハイライトを足しています。

首元は、最近いつもつけていた {mia} Small ring collar という細身の金属製チョーカーだと全体の黒のラインに負けてしまい、手持ちの太いチョーカーはベロア生地みたいで夏には暑苦しい。そこでまたシンプルなチョーカーを探していたのですが、なかなか見つからず困っていたところ、なんとインベントリの中にちょうど良いものがありました。 :::insanya::: – Gacha Collar – 6 (plain)。黒レザー × ミニリングのシンプルな首輪で、いつでもつけていたい感じのデザインです。こういう “普通に合わせやすいチョーカー” って意外と少なくて、スタッズがごつかったり、トゲトゲだったり、チャームが大量についていたり、見事な彫金がされていたり、リングが二重三重だったり……服に合わせづらいものが多いんですよね。

白のドレスは思っていたよりフラットでプレーンな見た目だったので、「あれ、なんか足りない……？」となり、ここもいろいろ試行錯誤しました。 Second Life で一番手軽なのはタトゥーなので、デコルテに細いタトゥーを足したり、手首にタトゥーを入れたりしようとしたのですが、やっぱり私のキャラクターには合わないなと断念。

次に試したのはレイヤードスタイルでした。Marketplace で透け感のあるオーバーサイズシャツを検索して羽織ってみました（amiable の Mesh Oversized Sheer Shirt など）。「おっ、いいかな？」と気に入ったのですが、ドレスや体の一部がどうしても突き出てしまい、見なかったことにするにはちょっといつも目立ちすぎるのでこれもやめました。

さらに二の腕につけるアームバンドを探したのですが、プレーンすぎるものか、蛇やジュエリーが豪奢にデザインされたものばかりで、それはそれで綺麗なのですが主役になってしまうのでこちらも断念。

最後に、フィンガーレスで手の甲だけを覆うフィッシュネットのグローブを探すことにしました。数はあるのですが、ゴシック・パンク寄りすぎたり、甘すぎるリボンがついていたり、ちょうどいいと思ったら BoM で質感が他のアイテムに負けて悪目立ちしたり……こちらもずいぶん苦戦しました。 その中で唯一と言っていいほどこのドレスに合って、かつ単体で販売してくれているのが AtaMe – Luxuria Leather Gloves でした。メッシュのメッシュグローブ(ややこしいですね)なもので少しぶかっとしているのがまず一つ気になりましたが、着けてみたらかえってそのルースさが良いかなと思い始め……ひょっとしてこれがあの噂の “抜け感”？ また、このグローブの黒は光の加減で青みがかって見えるのですが、それも他の黒のチョーカーやサンダルと合わせたときに良いかなと、こちらもポジティブにとらえることにしました。

フィンガーレスにしたのは、この爪を見せたいからというのもあります。最初はロングネイルチップには興味がなかったのですけれど、超ロングネイルチップフェチな方に「着けてみて」と Hollyhood Long Coffin Nails DD Pastels をプレゼントされて気に入り、そこから身につけるようになりました。 こちらは LIVIA::MixItPro Nails -v2- [COFFIN] で、超ロングの “coffin” からこれくらいのサイズまで HUD で調整できます。一つの COFFIN シェイプを買うと、同じ COFFIN のテクスチャパックを追加購入することで、ベースはそのままに爪の色を塗り替えられる仕組みです。 このガンメタルシルバー・クローム、お気に入りです。青みがかったフィッシュネットの隙間からこのクロームネイルがのぞくのが本当に良い！と思ったのです。この写真では同じ色に見えてしまっていますが、時々ちゃんと青いんですよ！

The hair was another instant love — Tiara Hair by OPALE.

I’ve liked their styles before, but this one felt like “the hair I’ve been searching for all these years.” Straight, blunt bangs, and long enough to reach the hips. It reminded me of when my real hair was that long and I’d accidentally sit on it and scream.... and how I always wished I could have that same style in‑world.
I still feel a little sorry and big thanks for Rei from 0 Style, because I used to send her/him so many impossible requests back then.

I thought a glossy pure black Material tone would suit it beautifully, but considering the accessories I planned to use.... and the fact that such long black hair can look heavy or even cheap without PBR.... I shifted the color slightly. I chose a henna‑tinted dark brown without indigo, which usually looks black but turns warm and bright under good lighting. Every time it happens, I get a little spark of joy.

For lips, I searched for rosewood or terracotta beige tones, but GENUS 2.0 options are limited now. I used tutti belli - nocturne (genus) and softened it with the HUD. For the eyes, I went bold — a strong eyeliner. I couldn’t find a modern one I liked, so I used an old CatWa item and added a wet highlight with the HUD.

My usual {mia} Small ring collar felt too delicate against the outfit’s black lines, and my thicker velvet‑like choker looked too heavy for summer. I searched everywhere for something simple, but couldn’t find anything… until I discovered a forgotten item in my inventory: :::insanya::: – Gacha Collar – 6 (plain). A minimal black leather band with a tiny ring.... surprisingly rare, considering how many chokers are covered in studs, spikes, charms, carvings, or multiple rings.

The white dress looked flatter and plainer than expected, so I felt something was missing. I tried tattoos first.... delicate lines on the décolletage or wrist.... but they didn’t suit my character. Then I tried layering sheer oversized shirts (like amiable’s Mesh Oversized Sheer Shirt). They looked promising, but clipping was too noticeable.

I searched for arm bands next, but they were either too plain or too ornate, and I didn’t want them to steal the spotlight.

Finally, I looked for fingerless fishnet gloves. There are many, but most were too gothic, too sweet, or too flat (BOM). The only pair that truly worked.... and was sold separately.... was AtaMe’s Luxuria Leather Gloves. They’re mesh gloves —mesh mesh gloves, which is confusing, I know — with a slightly loose fit that ended up giving a lovely “relaxed elegance.” The black also shifts toward blue depending on the light, creating a beautiful gradient with my other leather accessories.

I chose fingerless gloves because I wanted to show the nails. I wasn’t into long nail tips at first, but someone gifted me Hollyhood Long Coffin Nails DD Pastels, and I fell in love. These are LIVIA::MixItPro Nails -v2- [COFFIN], adjustable from ultra‑long coffin to shorter lengths via HUD. Once you buy the COFFIN base, you can add texture packs to recolor the nails without changing the shape. The gunmetal silver chrome is my favorite.... I love how it peeks through the blue‑tinted fishnet. In this photo it looks similar in tone, but sometimes it really does shine blue.

後ろ姿はこんな感じです。髪、長いでしょう？

ちょっとポーズを取ると真ん中の部分が身体に埋もれてしまったり、だいたいの場合おしりにめり込んでしまったりして、完璧とはいえないのですが、それでも大のお気に入りです。

昔、揺れるのが売りだった “flexi!” 時代のヘアや、2006年頃にも GuRL6やCalicoなどで超ロングヘアはありました。でもあれはどちらかというとパーティ用のウィッグ、コスプレ用のアニメキャラ風、お姫様風で、リアル・カジュアルな服に合わせると「んん？」となってしまっていました。

いまでも “ちゃんと超ロングヘアの女の子に見えて、三つ編みでもドレッドでもない” というのは本当に貴重だと思います。

そして、どうしてこんな引きの構図で撮っているかというと……

このドレス、後ろがめちゃくちゃ短いからです！

前も超ミニで、「リキュさんリキュさんパンチラしてる、えろいえろい」とすぐ言われるぐらいなのですが、後ろはもうおしりが隠れません。

「ヘーイそこのカノジョ、いいケツしてるね～」というメッセージはばんばん飛んできますし、VAW Ass をつけているのでばしばし叩かれます。

私は楽器だった……？ ってぐらいに。

靴は LUNA CHELSEA の Chey という細紐のレースアップ・グラディエーターサンダルにしました。

: CULT : Cassiopea Heelsというストッキング付きのサンダルもおもしろいかなと思って AI さんに聞いてみたところ、

「とてもおもしろいですし、今回のコーデに非常に合います！当初迷われていた “シアーパンプスの透け感” と “グラディエーターの直線美” が完璧に融合しています」

とほめられたのですが、ちょっとチャームが目立つかな、ウケが良くないかな……と、もともと好きなデザインのこちらにしました。

綺麗めなお姉さんを目指すのでしたら Pure Poison - Valeria Sandals もすてきだと思います。

でも「いいケツしてるね～」寄りの私はだめでした。

Here’s the back view—the hair is really long, isn’t it?

When I pose, the middle part sometimes sinks into the body, and most of the time it clips into the hips, so it’s not perfect. But even with that, it’s one of my absolute favourites.

Back in the flexi era, there were ultra‑long hairstyles at places like GuRL6, Calico around 2006, but they were more like party wigs or cosplay princess styles. Cute, but when paired with real casual outfits, they always felt a bit “hmm…?”.

(For example, something like this — link to the 2007 article “Why I’m so sleepy?”.)

A modern ultra‑long hairstyle that still looks like a normal girl’s hair—not braids, not dreads—is incredibly rare even now.

And the reason I’m shooting from this distance is simple:

the back of this dress is extremely short!

The front is already mini enough that people immediately go “Liqueur, Liqueur, you’re flashing, that’s so naughty,” but the back doesn’t cover anything at all.

Messages like “Hey girl, nice butt!”

fly at me constantly, and since I’m wearing VAW Ass, people keep smacking it.

At this point I’m starting to think I might be a musical instrument.

For shoes, I chose Chey by LUNA CHELSEA, a thin‑lace gladiator sandal.

I also considered : CULT : Cassiopea Heels, which come with stockings. I asked my AI assistant, and they said:

“It’s very interesting and fits your styling perfectly! The sheer‑pump transparency you were debating and the clean gladiator lines blend beautifully.”

But I felt the charms might stand out too much, and maybe wouldn’t get the best reactions, so I went with the design I originally liked.

If you’re going for a refined, elegant look, Pure Poison – Valeria Sandals would be lovely.

But I’m more of a ‘nice‑butt energy’ type, so they didn’t suit me.

最後に、首輪の質感と、こちらもいっとうお気に入りのピアスのお写真を。

Flickr! で私をフォローしてくださっている Ysoral という高品質ジュエリーのクリエイターさんがいらっしゃるのですが、その方に「ロングヘアに引っかからない、シンプルでミニマルなピアスを探しています」「PBR マテリアルを使った一粒スタッドピアス、スクエアカットのオニキスを一粒だけつけたものを制作される予定はありますか？」「フクリン留めのプラシオライトなどはありませんか？」と、たくさんメッセージを送っていました。

すると、「イメージに近いものは過去作にありますよ」と教えていただきました。 かなり初期の作品で、私が見逃してしまっていて…… 「わー、ごめんなさい！初期の作品、見逃していました！すてきですね！」 と返信し、購入したのがこちら~~ YsoraL ~~ .: Earrings Gaelle:.です。

ジュエリーも土台もピアスのキャッチもとてもリアルで、耳たぶに押しつけすぎて「いたたた……！」となる、あの感覚がよみがえります。ただ、当初予定していた黒を選んでも完全なオニキスには見えず、虹色に反射してしまうため、ピンクサファイア × ブロンズ土台 の組み合わせにしました。黒レザーの首輪と合わせたときに、フェミニンで “良い香りをまとっているような気分” になれて、買ってよかった！と思いました。

ただ、このピアス……このサイズですから、まず誰にも気づかれません。完全に自己満足の世界です。びっくりするかもしれませんが、これでも HUD で大きくしているサイズです。一番小さいサイズにすると、選ばれし者しか気づかないと思います。

上でもちらっと触れていますが、今回 AI さんにはだいぶ助けてもらいました。

そのまま「こういう服に合うアクセサリってありませんか？」と訊くと、この世のどこにも存在しないブランドを教えてくれるので（笑）、自分の手持ちのアクセサリや、着けて撮ってみた画像を渡して「この色とこの色、どちらがいいですか？」「暗めのガンメタルシルバー・クロームのネイルを使いたいのですが、この服に合うでしょうか？他に提案はありますか？」と訊ねると、

「ブラック・フレンチクロームはどうでしょう」

「マットブラック × クロームラインも合いますよ」

とすぐ提案してくれたので、そういう使い方が良いみたいですね。

そうそう、もう一つ最後に。

こちらは After‑Taste という、スパやラウンジ、クラブ、マッサージパーラーがひとつになった複合施設で撮りました。

プロフィールフィードで Tem Haalan さんがこちらで美麗なお写真をたくさん撮っていらして、気になって見に行ったのですが……なんとまあ、驚くほどセンスが良くて、おしゃれな場所でした。

床の光沢や照明が本当に美しいので、ぜひ PBR テクスチャが見られる環境 で、 複数の光源がしっかり反映される設定 にして、 できれば 鏡の反射もオン にして出かけてみてください。

……そうそう、もうひとつ。 使用したポーズのことを書くのをすっかり忘れていました！ 4年ぶりの更新なので、昔どんなふうに書いていたかもすっかり記憶が飛んでいて……。

Here’s a close-up of the choker texture and my absolute favorite earrings.

There’s a jewelry creator on Flickr, Ysoral, who follows me — their work is incredibly high‑quality. I kept messaging them things like:

“I’m looking for minimal stud earrings that won’t get caught in long hair,”

“Do you have plans for a PBR one‑stone onyx stud?”

“Any bezel‑set prasiolite pieces?”

and so on.

They kindly told me that something very close to what I wanted had already been released years ago.

It was an early piece, one I completely missed — so I was like “Oh wow, I’m so sorry — I completely missed your early pieces! They’re beautiful, thank you so much for telling me!” and bought this ~~ YsoraL ~~ .: Earrings Gaelle:. immediately.

The jewelry, the metal base, even the earring backs are so realistic that it brings back that “ouch, too tight on the earlobe” feeling.

I originally planned to choose black, but it didn’t look like true onyx — it reflected rainbow colors.

So I went with pale pink sapphire × bronze, which blends beautifully with the black leather choker and gives a soft, feminine, almost “perfumed” feeling. I’m really glad I bought it.

Of course, with earrings this tiny, no one ever notices them — it’s pure self‑indulgence.

And believe it or not, this is the enlarged HUD size.

If I used the smallest size, only the chosen few would ever spot it.

As I mentioned earlier, my AI assistant helped me a lot this time.

If I ask “Do you know any accessories that match this outfit?”, it will recommend brands that don’t exist anywhere in the world — so instead I show it my actual accessories or snapshots and ask:

“Which colour works better?”

“Would dark gunmetal chrome nails suit this outfit?”

“Any other suggestions?”

And it immediately replies with things like:

“How about black French chrome?”

“Matte black with chrome lines could work too.”

So it seems that’s the best way to use it.

And one last note.

These photos were taken at After‑Taste, a multi‑space venue that blends a spa, lounge, club, and massage parlor into one beautifully designed environment.

I first learned about it because Tem Haalan has taken many stunning photos there on profile feed, and when I visited myself… I was genuinely surprised by how stylish and well‑crafted the place is.

The glossy floors and lighting are especially gorgeous, so if you visit,

make sure you’re in an environment where PBR textures are visible,

with multiple light sources enabled —

and if possible, turn mirror reflections on as well.

And one more thing — I completely forgot to mention the poses I used! It’s been four years since my last update, so I honestly forgot how I used to write these things…
